PRIDE IES at WILLOW ACADEMY

ABOUT US

WE PROVIDE

The PRIDE IES program is the area’s leading full-time emotional support program. We offer a highly specialized and structured program called Intensive Emotional Support (IES) for students who require a more intensive level of support. Our practices are rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This evidence-based approach focuses on understanding and modifying behavior to promote success in school and in life.

EXPERT STAFF

PRIDE IES staff consists of a classroom-based special education teacher, tasked with providing specialized instruction and support, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who oversees the program’s therapeutic design and ensures its effectiveness, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), who implement the program’s therapeutic component with each student based on their individualized needs.

INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT

PRIDE IES class sizes are intentionally kept small to provide individualized attention. We maintain a 2-to-1 staff-to-student ratio to accomplish this. We ensure that 1-to-1 support is available as needed. Our classrooms will always be 6 to 8 students, at a maximum.

‣ Our structured learning environment improves focus and success.
‣ Our individualized support plans meet each student’s specific needs.
‣ Our evidence-based approach promotes positive behavior change.
